JOB SUMMARY
The Department of Public Works (DPW) Black Rock City (BRC) Yellow Bike Project Assistant Manager will support the DPW Yellow Bike Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the BRC Yellow Bike Project, including building, maintenance and strike of the Bike Shop and staff camp on-site. Responsibilities will include assisting with crew staffing and daily task management, resource tracking and purchasing, providing a professional interface with all Burning Man Staff and Black Rock City citizens during the event, and scheduling for the department’s needs to ensure smooth operations through the whole event production cycle. This role will support the collaboration with outside organizations to strategize and reallocate abandoned bikes post-season.
