360 Crew Volunteer

The 360 team provides construction and operational support for Nevada Operations across forward-facing Gerlach properties, including The 360. Folks who love a logistical puzzle, constantly shifting priorities, and good, old-fashioned hard work are the perfect fit with the 360. Our volunteers are the backbone of our operation, ensuring we have what we need exactly when we need it.  We encourage and welcome new ideas and ways to improve and grow!

During Burning Man, we will provide you space in our staff camp to pitch a tent or park a trailer, three meals a day from our wonderful commissary, and daily showers. Before/After Burning Man, we will provide housing or a space for you to park your trailer and power as well as 3 meals a day from the NVO Kitchen. You will also receive a staff credential/ticket to Burning Man as a thank you for your time and energy!

Date and time frame of role  

• Multiple 3 - 4 week roles between July and September 2025

List must-have talents

• Enthusiastic about keeping the environment healthy.
• Understanding of team dynamics and a good attitude.
• Ability to work safely and with awareness/clear communication in an event production environment.
• Strong logistical mind and a knack for organization.

Nice-to-have talents

• It is helpful if the candidate has previously been to Burning Man or is familiar with its culture.
• Experience working in remote wilderness or desert environments.

List of potential tasks***    

• Perform cleaning, organizing, moving, loading, unloading, and other support tasks as assigned.
• Support the crew's needs with snacks, water, and other items.
• Taking pictures of native and invasive plant species for documentation.
• Mooping and landscaping.
• Logistics support.
• Manning our entrance gate and helping redirect lost folks.
